  1. The reason, Frank, why some of us enjoy consuming a story through a game is because it's a different vector, and can do different things than other mediums. Books do some things the others can't do. Movies do some things the others can't do. Theater, games even music have unique ways of telling a story, and that's what draws us to them.

    If all you ever wanted was the way that tells the most high quality story, with the deepest characters and the richest worlds, there wouldn't even be need for films, because books as a medium has them beat.

    But there are things books can't do. And that's why we like different vectors.
